Qiu Lingshan's face flushed red at once, yet she did not object. In her heart she had long since counted herself as Wei Zhao's woman. He had seen everything of her, and time and again she had acted spoiled and teasing before him. Why would she mind sleeping with Wei Zhao? She could hardly wish for more!

"No need. I do not sleep. Cultivation alone restores my strength. I can rest sitting in the office chair. You two sleep." Wei Zhao said lightly.

"That works too!" Chen Yutian nodded. "Then I will go sleep on the sofa first."

Chen Yutian could see the disappointment on Qiu Lingshan's face, but this was no business he could meddle in. Better to sleep first.

"Then I will go rest too..." Qiu Lingshan knew Wei Zhao was a man who did exactly as he said. If he would not go himself, no amount of forcing would be of any use.

Nothing was said through the night. Early the next morning, the three set out on their journey, bound for that ancient tomb in the suburban county of Songshan City!
